Abstract

Chronic wounds represent a serious public health problem and a cause of great consumption of health resources. Recent advances in the understanding of the mechanism of healing led to the development of new treatments. Define the role and effectiveness of these new treatments is the next step.
The authors of this study sought to address some therapeutic beyond compression therapy and dressing material, in the healing of chronic wounds.
