Resumo

O crescente número dos ensaios clínicos na área dermatológica exige do dermatologista a capacidade de avaliar a qualidade, compreender, e sintetizar informações de diferentes fontes para decidir sobre as estratégias terapêuticas/ diagnósticas. Este artigo de educação médica contínua aborda os princípios básicos, considerados relevantes e adaptados à área dermatológica, fundamentais na interpretação dos resultados dos ensaios clínicos. A parte I deste artigo explora os diferentes desenhos de estudo e aborda o seu impacto nos resultados.
